PLANNING AND ZONING HISTORICAL APPROPRIATNESS COMMISSION (PZHAC)
As per our municipal code 18.06.020, PZHAC commissioners are appointed for one- or two-year terms. On January 1, 2024, there will be two positions available on the PZHAC.
Any eligible resident of the Town of Mesilla that would like to participate in serving our community is encouraged to apply.
Eligibility are as follows:
• Must be a resident of the Town of Mesilla at least 6 months.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must commit and be available to attend all PZHAC scheduled meetings.
•
Passion to serve our community.
•
Expected to read and understand zoning ordinances.
Commissioners currently on the PZHAC that will be completing their term, are encouraged to reapply.
Description of PZHAC duties and responsibilities can be found in chapter 18.06 of our municipal code.
Please submit letter of interest to the community development coordinator via mail, email or drop off at front desk by December 31, 2023.
