The Town of Mesilla is seeking a Public Works Maintenance Worker/Water OperatorI employee. Must be at least 18 years old, High School diploma or GeneralEducational Development (GED). Must possess a valid New Mexico Class “B”driver’s license (CDL) or able to obtain one within 6 months of hire. One (1) yearexperience relating to construction, maintenance and streets. Must possess of one ofthe following: a valid New Mexico Water Operator Level I certification or a validNew Mexico Wastewater Operator Level I certification and able to obtain the otherwithin one year of hire.
Citizenship in the United States or alien work status documents pursuant to applicableFederal Immigration Laws.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Full-time position (40 hoursper week) starting $16.50 or depending on qualifications.
